		<description>If your ear is crusty you probably have an infection. My ears are very sensitive and they have a hot, itchy, red and crusty reaction after wearing earrings for a couple of hours. It wouldn&#039;t hurt to pop into the place that did your piercing. After care should be part of the service they offer. They will have a lot more experience with all sorts of weird reactions and advise you on the best course of action. One tip - don&#039;t play with or touch the infected area any more than you need to to clean it. And don&#039;t over clean it - both will irritate the skin further and slow down healing.
