Never. Anyone with at tattoo that is visible would put of my customers.
How anyone would do such, to lower their work ration, means they are sub-par intelligent.
Good luck, face tatoos.

These comments kill me. Personally I would have no issues hiring someone with tattoos regardless of where they are. That being said content is a bit of an issue, I figure as long as none of them are derogatory why judge?

On a side note; I have a few tattoos (including a sleeve) and have not been discriminated against at all when applying for a job, even if I tell my future employers before being hired. I work in a very professional environmentand have not found body art to be a hinderance at all. In fact, most of the time I find the exact opposite is the case. Clients/ customers generally have ink themselves or have a relative with ink and are very eager to swap stories!

Kudos to the person above me!

To the person above me:

I can see that you are a very judgmental person. Not only do you make absolutely no attempt to understand others' choices that you disagree with, but you use words like "ugly" and such to describe people.

I find it disgusting when people tan too much, but if they do a great job working, I wouldn't refuse to hire them. Tanning is a choice similar to getting a tattoo or piercing, but you don't see people judging them for looking like a carrot.

As for when you go to the beach: I'm just the opposite. I'm *only* attracted to women with tattoos. I find people with blank skin to be boring and uninteresting. I feel like they're not at all creative. See how that works?

I don't have earrings and I'm also straight, but I found your comment about men with earrings to sound homophobic and insulting.

Sorry to say, but no god made us. But now I get where you're coming from; you're one of those religious nuts.

I'm a business owner myself. I'm 21 and I net about $620,000 a year, depending on how sales go. Oh, and I have several visible tattoos. None of my clients care!

You're also ill informed about the HIV thing. Most tattoo places will use a new needle or will use an autoclave to sterilize needles. There is no HIV risk at a reputable tattoo shop. In fact, did you know that if someone with HIV scrapes their knee on the sidewalk and bleeds all over and then you immediately scraped your knee in the same spot, you might not get HIV? The virus dies pretty quickly once outside of the body. Complications from tattoos are not very common. Please learn what you're talking about before vomiting bullshit.

My standards are high too: I would never date an uninked girl. How's that sound? You claim that people should be natural, but I'm sure if your women didn't shave or put on makeup, you wouldn't like that either.

I can't wait until your generation dies off.

Depends on the business.

For my Roofing Company I will hire people with Tat's, but not on the face or neck.
If they can be covered with a shirt it's OK with me.

My restaurants is a different story, I will not hire people with Tats to work waiting tables, or in the front. The cooks and dishwashers can have Tats but they need to be covered with shirts.

I don't have any tat's or piercings. Men should not wear ear-rings, they are for women. I don't understand men with ear-rings, what do you do look in the mirror and ask yourself, "Wow do I look pretty today?" I don't get it.

Why do people get a "Tribal" Tattoo? To me they just look ugly. Natural skin is much more attractive to me. When I am at the beach I don't look at the ladies with tats, only the natural ladies. This is my opinion.
God made us what we are and my body is not an art canvas to paint images on.

The Rub-On Tats are OK with me, as you can simply wash them off.

My standards are very high when it comes to picking a mate. I would never date a girl with Tats in a serious relationship.

Who would want to watch The Victoria's Secret Models walking down the runway with Tats all over their bodies? Not many people.

People with Tats please don't feel offended, it's just the way I was raised.

My father was a US Marine in WWII & Korea War and he was pressured to get a Tat in the Service but he never did it. And that is in the 1940s-1950s.

Nobody in my family of 5 has a tattoo.

I am happy with my life as a natural human and I don't feel I need to get a tat to look tough or cool. I don't wear jewelry of any kind. I don't even wear my gold Rolex watch anymore because I'm concerned some Crackhead will shoot or stab me for it.

If your young and thinking about getting a tattoo, don't do it. You may regret it, they are so hard to remove.

You could get HIV AIDS or other problems from contaminated needles.

Ask to check all the tools they will be using on you and make sure they are all cleaned in the autoclave. Also make sure the ink they use on you is fresh and not re-cycled from other clients.
