I have dark skin and i want to get a colorful tattoo. Will it show or is it a waste of my time and money? Should I just settle for black and white?

colours on a darker skin tone sounds great.
i mean when you look at a fairer skin tone person’t colourful tattoo, its like you can’t see the colours very well cause its so pale.
but again, think thrice before going for a tattoo, it might affect your life
it really depends on how dark you are. and where you get it.
the best thing to do would be to go in and ask an artist…or several different artists, what they think. if you see a person with tattoos that shares your skin tone, ask to look at their tattoos and maybe where they got them. it will be a good guide on how much color will show on your skin and it will give you a good idea on where to look for a good artist.
i think the key with dark skin and color tattoos is the artist and how honest they want to be. they can tell you point blank whether the color is likely to be a waste or not, and a good artist will really know how to get the color to pop out too.
It depends how dark your skin is. But anything darker than light brown is unlikely to work well with colour. I’ve seen people try it, and it usually comes out quite murky, and in the end they always settle for black and grey tats.
It’s worth speaking to your artist but I have a feeling they’ll say it’s not worth it.
Having dark skin with a colorful tattoo is a bad idea because it will not show you should settle with black and white whitch will stand out than the colorfull
its a very bad waste of time and money settle for black and gray thats the best way for dark skin
