Duh! Let me reiterate that, it’s important: Duh!! Someone’s punching a needle through some part of your body — of course that’s gonna hurt!
I vote that from now on we all collectively lie and say that it’s completely painless. Then they get to enjoy the surprise….a rare reward for being dense.

when i talk to little girls who see my lip peircing and then they insist they need one too, i tell them its completely painless and even suggest they do it at home themselves. i support your idea to lie to everyone about it- it really is the most obvious question you could ask someone.
