Piercing Questions

Where Can I Find Body Piercing Shops Near Me?

6 Comments 30 January 2010

I want to get my Tongue Professionally pierced, and YES I have parental consent, but I’ve never gotten a piercing before other than my ears and I don’t know how one goes about picking the perfect studio!
If it helps I live in Deltona Florida.

Just look up tattoo shops in the phone book or on yellow pages.com. There aren’t many shops out there just for piercing. They are mostly paired up with tattoo shops. After you find some, go look at them. Just walk in and when they ask if they can help you tell them you are wanting to get your tongue pierced and are checking out prices. Get a feel for the place. Is it clean? What is the atmosphere like? Are there other people there getting work done? (If you walk in to a place and it’s empty, kinda says they don’t get much business and there may be a reason, they aren’t good) Make sure whatever shop you choose, you are comfortable being there. If you don’t feel comfortable don’t go there. Good luck.

Umm.. You could try searching online. Type in your state or local city and “body piercing shops” on google. Sometimes people will advertise online, or you could check the yellow pages in your phone book. Make sure the shop has the right licenses and equipment first, and if you walk inside and it creeps you out, maybe find some place else. Just wondering- what exactly are you thinking of getting pierced? =P

Go to http://www.bmezine.com and on their main page there is a link that says ‘find a studio’ and there you go.
