Ear piercings are really common and its not “unprofessional” to wear them. Pretty much 90% of all girls have their ears pierced and get them at a young age. What other piercings do you think will be this way? Belly Button piercings are very common and so are nose piercings, but what do you all think?

I think that all piercing will be accepted soon. Of course we sell body jewelry and hope thats so, but in the last couple of years we have had older -like over 60-women buying belly rings for themselves. Lots of parents come in and buy body jewelry for their kids. Usually cute stuff like care bears is alot more accepted than the goth suff.
When anybody says anything about how can I sell it (can’t see my piercings) I tell them that it is not permenant like a tattoo, and you can always take it out or wear a retainer. They seem to accept it more then. labrets & eyebrow rings get more accepted every year and we are in a rural area not a big city.

Probably belly button piercings, because the only time people will see them is at the beach. And maybe nose piercings – I do know that some of my friends have mothers with pierced noses due to a religious and/or cultural thing.
Uh. Just the normal kind, but if you really wanted to, get 2 holes on the lobe of your ear. That pretty professional, anything else is a llittle trampy to me.
Honestly, I can’t imagine anything besides piercings in the earlobe to be considered “professional”. Any piercings in the face are considered pretty punk and the belly kind of skanky.
I think people are accepting nose piercing and cartilidge piercings more and more each day. I think both those kinds are not trashy at all.

i know my job never gave me crap about my nose ring, because in some socities it’s a religious thing .. but when i got my lip pierced, all hell broke loose.
