My favorite tattoo is of a dove on my left rist. It represents the first time my boyfriend kissed me, on my wrist, I fell in love with him. And when I fell in love with him, I felt peace, and peace is like a dove.
What about you?

well, i haven’t got it yet, but i am in a few weeks.I’m getting my maw maw’s initials on my wrist, because she passed away in September of last year, almost exactly a month after my birthday. She meant a lot to me, & i wish that i wouldn’t have taken her for granted.
I do not necessarily believe all tattoos need meaning. My favorite tattoo is a lime green monkey on the inside of my right arm. He is covering his eyes, mouth, and ear. To me he has come to represent me, my brother and my sister. Last christmas we all took a picture of the same pose. But I have over 20 tattoos and about half of them mean nothing. You associate meaning to them as life goes on. To me it is about the art.
i got mine for my 16th birthday. it is a vine that starts at my belly button a goes up my ribs to my back. it has about 10 small dead rose buds and one rose bloomed at the top of the vine. it also has barbed wire going through it. it symbolizes going through a hard time and all of the disappointments you will encounter but in the end waiting is what really pays off because something really good and really big will happen to make it worth it.
i also have a cross on my wrist with a ball a chain on it that symbolizes having to carry something really heavy like a big responsibility or a secret.
those are my two favorites so far. i couldnt decide between them so i put both.
My favorite has to be my first tattoo. It’s a cresent moon and star on my ankle. I was raised by ultra conservative people who thought tattoos were for bikers and convicts! I was 36 when I got it and it was the best feeling in the world. I think tattoos are the ultimate in personal art and expression and i don’t regret mine for a minute. I’ve got 4 so far and I’m looking into getting a back piece done this fall.
Mine is of Baphomet on my upper back. It represents a very dark period in my life that I fortunately lived through. It ultimately reminds me of the stength and lessons I learned then…ones I do not care to repeat.
All my tattoos represent phases in my life…some are dark in nature…and some are not so dark. Haha. Life is pain…it’s all in how you cope.
I have a huge peppermint with 2 roses & black raindrops on my back.
Its a tribute to my favorite band, The White Stripes, and their remake of “I just don’t know what to do with myself” (like a summer rose, needs a summer rain)
got it on my 20th birthday, and still love it (& Jack!)
And my ankh on my wrist, covering a scar where I did some stupid crap as a teenager. “life” over death in a way
i have the rose that grew from concrete tattooed on me in a hidden area and i love it cuz it describes me very well.. plus its a peom written by tupac a truly inspiring person whom i look up to even tho hes dead

That is the tattoo that’s my favorite. It represents me and my cousins. Me being the moon[being the oldest] and the 3 stars being my younger cousins.
The word ‘Blessed’ with a tree; the tree trunk is the letter L in ‘Blessed.’ It’s to remind me whenever I’m feel upset, or if little things are going wrong in my life that there are people who are much worse off, and I am lucky.
