When i had mine done, one of the ladies that worked at the parlour said you can buy some kind of make up specially to cover up tattoos incase there was a occasion you didn’t want it on show. I suggest you go to your local tattoo parlour and see if they have any suggestions on what type of product you could use. Or alternatively, search the net. I have seen several websites with this kind of make up, for all different skin tones.
    Good luck :)

wear a white sweat armband..or anything that goes with the dress you’re wearing..thats what the r n b singer monica use to do..thats y she was always wearing an sweat armband to cover up her tat…and besides it might add a touch to the dress!

You should be proud of your tats. Don’t get them if you aren’t proud of them.

    I suppose a band-aid would probably look tacky….
    1. make-up
    2. jewelry
    3. scarf or shawl
    4. long-sleeved dress

First suggestion would be really long white gloves, second would be…see if someone can alter a garter. You know the one that the groom usually removes later….wink…wink…
Get matching ones for each side, they are white, lacy and usually wide enough to cover an arm band.
oh, but save yourself one for later too…
    Good luck, and congrats.

i found this to be the best technique in hiding a tattoo.
    you will need:
1 – red based lip gloss
    2- 2 concealer brushes
3 – one warm, one cool concealer
    4 – translucent powder
5 – bronzer or big facial brush
first apply a thin layer of the red based gloss. let it dry completely. add about 3 more layers, letting it dry completely in between.
with one brush, apply the warm concealer first, lightly. let air dry and follow by the cool concealer letting air dry also.
once completely dry, take shine off by dusting with translucent powder.
try a couple of times before your wedding and good luck!

this is why girls shouldnt have tatts on their arm until after they are married!! Please, dont try and cover it with anything, it will look silly i mean, how classy is a sweat band with a wedding dress?? Dont use make up because it will rub off on to your dress, just buy a dress that will cover it (ones that are off the shoulder but have a band around the back and around the arms that meet in a bow at the front are pretty!) let this be a lesson for the youth of today lol All my tattoos are in places that are easily concealed.

you could add some eye shadow or put on a something called henna if you know it ………………………..that would help a Little

Why cover it? Is it not part of YOU? Part of your history? Part of who your fiance fell in love with?
I have never understood this desire to hide tats for your wedding day.
I wish people would think about this before they get them – they are meant to be loved and worn with pride, not hidden away like a dirty little secret!

There are several make-up products out there specificly made to cover up tats. Here are a couple of links:

I would suggest that, if you’re having your hair and make up done professionally, during your trial run you bring the cover up makeup and ask them to apply it. That day wear something fitted and white to see if it smudges. There are ways to set the makeup so it is less likely to smudge but you may need a few trial runs to get it right.

    Good luck and congrats!
