When they were little, I had them both write their names on a paper, and tucked it away until years later. Of course, it’s immediately recognizable that they were written by small children.
I brought it into the tattoo parlor, and had their names tattooed on me in their handwriting.
They both think they’re the most awesome tattoos ever!
my girl is pregnant with my child right now and my idea for my childs tattoo on my body is two fuu dogs (buddhist temple guardians) on both sides of my chest with a string in both of there mouths connected to a banner going across my chest with his name in calligraphy in it. “Parker william kenney”
so in my opinion i like script combined with an image for that type of tattoo.
portraits are always a nice choice as well
I just a tattoo on the back of my neck that says ‘to my son, I love you’ written in french and I have two step daughters that have lived with me full time all there lives and I got two stars that represent them on each side of the wording. I is very cute and I thought it was a good way to put something in ink about my children.

There are some to look at I also think a nice way is to get something a little special that only you and your children would know it’s for them like a possum if you call one possum. But otherwise I think the portraits are beautiful and their birth dates for something smaller.
take ur kids to the tattoo shop and ask if they can writer there names on ur body somewhere and if they really will let them write it(my tattoo palor let my kids do it) then ask if they can draw a picture. It is so cool.
I got vines and flowers on my foot with my babies name going through it. The feet are nice for ladies because you can show them or hide them if you need to. My husband got my sons newborn handprint on his arm. Good Luck
i dont have kids or tattoos for that matter, but one of my best friends got a baby block with her sons initials on it tattooed on to her neck…its so adorable. The footprints idea is really sweet too
I’m not a big fan of name of face tattoos. A friend of mine got a drawing his kid did of him tattooed on his arm, I thought that was cool.
