What Is The Absolute Cheapest, Surest Way To Remove A Tattoo? If Saline Solution, How Can I Make My Own?

14 Comments 08 February 2010

Also, how good does saline solution work?
I am broke for now, so I need the absolute cheapest thing possible to remove a tattoo. If anything homemade would work, that’d be great. Please, save the stupid answers.

well if it is an ink one the only thing that is safe and will work is going to be laser removal sorry to disappoint you.

Saline wouldn’t work. Saline is just a fancy word for salt water. A tattoo is permanent- it takes laser surgery to remove it, and even then, you’re left with a scar in the shape of your tattoo.
There are two ways to remove a tattoo
    a) Burning the ink away (laser surgery)
    b) Removing the skin that holds the ink ( scraping away the skin down to the tissue underneath)
So unless you’re willing to take a cheese grater to your tattoo to remove it, you’re out of luck for removing it at home. You should’ve thought twice before you got one!

Using saline solution does not work. Those tattoo creams like Wrecking Balm and Tat-B-Gone do not work.
The only thing that works is laser tattoo removal. It is expensive and painful, but if you waste your time with these other scams, you’re only going to be disappointed.

I take it you mean a real tattoo, not a temp.
A tattoo is basically a scar with ink poisoning. As of yet I have not been able to remove my scars or tattoos with salt water (which I believe saline is) but from what I can gather it is not something you can do at home. It is basically piercing the skin, the same as they did to do the tat in the first place (minus the ink) and then covering it with a pad with saline on. Rinse and repeat. The only other Way I know of is laser treatment but I have never had to think about removing one.
If you want a tattoo, get one you aren’t going to regret. No names etc.
As for price I cannot suggest the cheapest way of attempting to rid yourself of your body art as you do not give your location.
I would REALLY not recommend trying to do it at home or in a backstreet surgery as it is classed as invasive surgery and you may end up with it looking worse than before.
The best way I can see is to save up your money, put up with it, and get it done properly.

I think ur only option is laser removal. Why don’t you save your money until you can actually get it done professionally. DOn’t do it yourself. You will regret it.

Wrecking Balm is something that you rub over your tattoo that makes it fade over time. Never used it, just heard about it. It has to be cheaper than surgery… worth a try. Check it out.
