I’m going to be getting a job as an exotic dancer soon. Please correct me if I am wrong, but I am under the impression that all exotic dancers have tattoos.

I would say do not get one. If it is indeed common for them to have tattoos then you would stand out a little bit more and could get more tips.
Remember lots of guys like the innocent girl image too…

they dont all have tattoos…get a tattoo for your own personal reasons….ink is permanent …choose wisly…
No all exotic dancer tattoos but I think that something dripping like strawberries or cherries or something will be good. And get it on your upper thigh.That would be hot.

I have been an exotic dancer for 4 years and have many tattoos, but one thing that I have learned and try to impart into new dancers is that individuality is what makes each dancer unique. Find your own style and be who you want to project. Just because ten girls have tattoos doesn’t mean that you need to get one to fit in. In fact, set yourself apart by just being yourself. If you really want a tattoo, then take your time and choose one that is right for you. I have a full back piece that has taken me 8 years to design. Ink is forever.
Also, I know many dancers that are ink and piercing free and they do just fine in the money department.
hey most exotic dancers ive met ya they got tats the most common is in the small beas of the back either cat eyes or a butterfly but dont go with the norm try fairies dolphins something sensual

Don’t get a tattoo just cuz everyone else gets one when getting a tattoo i would tell anyone get one that you like and suits well with you take your time pickin a tattoo cuz it hurts a lot more getting it removed then getting one if you like it the have it

Its not like its a requirement to be a dancer, just happens to be that most dancers have tattoos. If you don’t really know what kind of tattoo you want to get then I would suggest you wait a while. You don’t want to get a design that you are going to regret once you stop dancing, or whatever. Don’t just get one because “everyone is doing it”.

Not all exotic dancers have tattoos. Of the ones I’ve known, the most of the ones with tattoos are the ones that have had alcohol or substance abuse problems and got their tattoos while wasted. The handful who have tattoos sans drug dependance are those who made the decision to get the tattoo before they started dancing. The rest of the dancers I know don’t want to mark up their bodies, and so are tattoo free.
If you really feel you need a tattoo, it’s probably because it’s something you’ve wanted a long time, right? Either way- it’s YOUR BODY. Get something meaningful to you, something that makes you smile with a great memory every time you see it… Otherwise, you might live to regret your decision!
Nothing wrong with dancing? Degrading yourself by taking off your clothes for over-sexualized men who don’t care one thing about you but just see you as a sexual object. Yeah…nothing wrong with that!

No, not all dancers have tattoos. It’s a general stipulation, though, because it’s thought that girls with tattoos are wild, so… if you really want one, cherries are cute.
only get one if you really want one. My motto is to pick one out and wait at least 6 months. If you still like it 6 months later, get it.
also, i say avoid lower back tribal tattoos, names of anyone but your child, and band logos….

Most of the strippers I’ve seen have tats that are related to their kid(s). If you don’t have any of those, go for something feminine like a butterfly or a rose on the ankle. Those are super-hot outside of the strip-club as well.

I would suggest that you not get one because you feel its part of the job. All men dont like tattoos and may enjoy seeing an unmarked female body.
to be honest not all exotic dancers have tattoos alot of guys don’t like them anyway. But I have a small cherry right on my pubic area (shaved) covered by underwear to leave something to the imagination
I wouldnt get a tattoo just because exotic dancers get tattoos. If you want one just because you want one then get one. Get something that represnts you or something you like

unless you are getting a tattoo because it has meaning to you or you really appreciate the artwork, getting a tattoo just because your a stripper and getting one because you feel all other strippers have tattoos is dumber than the 15 year old on here who wants to get a tattoo that some wwf dude has. look. just because all of the other dancers have tattoos, that doesn’t mean u have to get one. if u want one just because u think it would be cool, and u REALLY want one then get one. also if ur not sure, then dont do it. if u see something that u really like, and then want to get a tattoo, then get one!!!
