I really want a tattoo on my back, a heart.
many people have said that getting it on my back isnt a good idea and to get it other places but i really just want a tattoo on my back.
what does everyone think about a heart with the words “love life” in it? does anyone like it?

I have a heart on the small of my back and it means the world to me! I listened to no one when i got it and dont regret it 8 years later, so go for it! It sounds pretty. just get it in a nice spot on your back.
I think that it could be a very nice tattoo, if done right. But in the end, it needs to be something you can live with for the rest of your life ( i.e. when you’re 80 yrs old with the grandkids hanging around!). Make sure it is done how you like it, and don’t settle. It pretty much sounds like you have your heart set on it (no pun intended!), so follow your instinct and be happy. I have one tattoo (so far) and it’s on my lower back. I’ve gotten a few raunchy comments about the placement, but I love what my tattoo means to me, and I put it there for a reason. I have never regretted my decision for a moment. So in the end, do what makes you happy, even though I think it sounds like a very nice tattoo.
Your body- you do what you want- if the heart means something (and the quote) do it, its going to be there forever, so make sure you do some research with the artist that your going to have do your tattoo- I have stars all over my hips and a Celtic heart on my foot– and I love them all, they help make me a bit more unique than I all ready am, I don’t regret them now, and even if I do sometime down the line- they’re in places I can cover them up and hide them… but I love my ink… and you have to make sure that you love what your planning on putting on your body–
I didn’t think of my tattoos on my own, I had the artist come up with random ideas and I loved them when he showed them to me… see if the artist can tweak an idea you had in mind to see if they can find something interesting and unique for you…

if you want it on your back get it on your back! its completly up to you not anyone else!! as for the heart its a cute idea get something that means something to you though bc it is permanant =) i loooovvvve tattoos but i have one rule on my body.. i dont want them to show for my job or in my future wedding dress lol.. so i keep mine below the boobs lol.. good luck!
