Tragus Piercing Question. One Or Two Ears?

I want to get a tragus piercing however which looks betterl getting just 1 ear done? or both ears?
also, if you think just one ear- which ear would look better?
And my last question– i’m planning on getting a tattoo on my 18th brithday (july 20) so should i get my tagus piercing before that with my parent’s consent? or wait until my 18th so i can get it by myself? Because i figured that i should get it done before so i wont have to worry abt so much aftercare at once, would that make sense?

I would just get one pierced, but I’m a fan of getting different kinds of ear piercings and balancing them out between my ears (not having my ears be identical piercing-wise), so I’m biased :]
As for when to get it done, I would get it before you get the tattoo. Healing a new piercing and tattoo at the same time (especially if it’s your first tattoo) can be a pain (and even overwhelming, because both can require neurotic care the first week or so). Breaking them up allows you time to devote attention to each body mod individually, plus you don’t have to deal with the pain and irritation of two healing things at once. well i dont have my tragus pierced but i have seen people with it done on one ear and it looks fine but yeah i would get your tragus done now then w8 till u turn 18 to get a tatoo cause taking car of 2 things like that at once can be huge hassle, believe me. i know

My friend got her right ear done and it looks really cute. I’d do it now, so if it did get infected or something, it’s out of the way when you go for your tattoo.

I’ve had a tragus piercing in my left ear for about 2 years now and I want to go back and get my right ear done. It’s really just a matter of preference. 1 will look fine, but if you feel like a little more, 2 won’t hurt it either. What you can do is get one done first and you can always go back to get another later. Do you have a certain side that you like to sleep on? If you like to sleep on your side maybe you should get it on the opposite. When I got mine I didn’t really have a choice because I was trying to balance my ears out with the piercing!
As for your other question: if your parents wouldn’t mind going with you to get the piercing done, sure, get it done before your tattoo. I don’t have a tattoo so I’m not sure what the protocal is for aftercare, but I know with piercings it takes a couple weeks and for one of my piercings it took a couple months. It could be easier to get it done before, but I don’t think it’ll really matter.

i got my left tragus pierced and everybody thinks its really cute but it is totally up to you if you want to get both. and i agree with all the others, wait to get the tattoo ’cause having both heal at the same time is a bitch.
