So I’ve tried everything from sea salt spray to the actual sea salt soaks…is there anything else I should try before I take it out
I really don’t want to take it out so please someone help me
Oh its swollen and not fully healed and i have had it for maybe 2 1/2 months to 3 months…is that even normal? Thanks for not giving me silly answers<<<hint!

Well it usually takes up to a year for cartilidge piercings to heal so it’s normal that yours would be irritated still.
All you need to do is make sure your caring for it properly and it should start to feel better and heal.
So first off don’t play with it or touch it unless you absolutly had to and then wash your hands well before hand.
Clean it daily with all or either seal salt soaks 1/4 teaspoon in 8oz of water works good, saline solution or the H2ocean spray. You should be cleaning it several times a day.
Do not change to jewelry, rotate the jewelry or twist/spin jewelry just leave it be it will not heal attached to the metal.
Don’t use peroxide or alcohol on it they’re to harsh and actually prolong the healing process.
Use good quality jewelry to like surgical steel, cus alot of jewelry has nickel in it which really irritates piercings.
Also white, clear or yellowish discharge is normal and a sign of healing … Green is a sign of infection. It’s kind of a annoying process waiting for a cartilidge piercing to heal. But in the end it’s worth it in my opinion.
Good luck
I appreciate being a girl more now than ever. There`s a struggle involved in it, but it`s so rewarding when you prove to all men that you might have something up on `em.
try surgical spirit and hydrogen peroxide solution
