Question About A Tongue Piercing?

I know that the little bump around the piercing is normal, but I’ve had my tongue pierced for about a month now and it still hasn’t gone away. Is this normal? I’ve been using mouthwash and everything just like they said but the bump just won’t go away. Is there any way to make it go away faster? Or should I just wait and it’ll disappear on its own?

I am in the band and I play the clarinet and I was wondering how long after getting it pierced will I have to wait before I began to participate with my marching band again? N how bad would you rate the pain.. during the piercing, weeks after, and months later.

Okay so I’ve had my tongue pierced for around 2 months now. A couple of days ago I started feeling sick (sore throat, runny nose, blah blah blah) then a day after the area around the top hole of my tongue piercing started feeling really sore and irritated. Do you think my sickness is causing my tongue to act up?

I have this indention where the tongue ring is laying. Is this suppose to be normal. I have had it done before and I don’t think that it did this. I am just curious if it will go away after it is done healing or what.

Well, I got it done on sunday. Took it out yesterday cause I had no patience for not eating or smoking, So now, how long do I have to wait until I dont have to rinse my mouth after everything I do. Or generally, how long does it take to close up for good? I only had it for three days.
