I know I should have asked all these questions when I was at the piercing place, but I was too distracted with excitement.
So, my question is:
I’ve had my longer bar in for only 3 days now. I felt the flat back of the bar with my tongue and it seemed as if one side was going into my lip. It’doesn’t hurt, it doesn’t feel tight, and the ball is still fully visible. I was wondering if this is normal?
I’ve been doing sea salt soaks 2 times a day & cleaning the outside with satin soap, using the given mouthwash after every major meal, and brushing my teeth.

Alright, I have been doing my homework and know that a piercing gun is much more likely to lead to an infection than a hollow needle. My question lies within the type of earrings to pick out. I am severely allergic to nickel – it makes my ears swell and begin to produce puss within an hour!! The “stud” type earrings actually grew into one of my piercings, so which type of earring post should I use?

So i just got this eyebrow barbell piercing and my manager tells me i need to put a bandaid over it. My question is will a bandaid infect it if it is less than two weeks old? Or is a bandaid even healthy for it ever. I know i can get clear studs eventually but wont be able too until its fully healed. Thanks.
also if anyone has any suggestions on what else i could do aside from bandaid. I don’t necessarily need this job right now and have worked there over 2 years so i might just say take it or i walk type of thing.
