Hey! So I got my nose piercing done on my right side last July, and I think it’s about time that I finally change it. So I got it done with a gun, and I know..I shouldn’t have. But I didn’t know at the time. Anyways, I bought 4 nose studs yesterday; one is 14kt gold, and the other 3 are surgical steel. I know the one that’s gold is probably the safest, but it also doesn’t have any sort of “back”. And it’s not L-shaped or hooked, and it was the only gold one they had. However, the surgical steel ones have balls at the end so I guess that rids the chance of it falling out.
So my question is that: Should I go ahead wear the 14 kt gold one with no back? Or should I wear the surgical steel one with balls at the end? Which one will be safer?

Ok, so I wanna get my left nostril and right top ear pierced when I get my pay. I just wanna know how much they would cost each to get pierced. I live in Australia. Also, do the nose studs fall out of your nose pretty easily? I only wanna get a very small silver stud. Thanks

I had my nose pierced about two months ago. My summer job doesn’t allow me to have facial piercings, and will also require me to work 8-12 hours shifts, 5 days a week. A few weeks ago, I knocked the piercing out while showering and had to replace the ring. In the 5 hours I was ring-less, the hole healed itself slightly and had to be re-pierced. It hurt so bad I cried.
My question is- is there a way to keep a nose piercing from closing? Or is there an undetectable spacer I can use to hold the hole’s place while I’m working?
I love my piercing and I’d hate to lose it.
Any advice?
