Is there anyway for me to test my pain tolerance in certain areas compared to others? I am getting my first tattoo very soon and I want to know which place of my choice is the best area.
Is there any way I could find out? Any tips?

I want to get a heart about 2.5 inches in diameter tattooed in black on my foot. I’m a nurse and will have to work for a few hours the next day. I’m just wondering if it will hurt a lot the next day and what is the general rule about shoes and stuff for a few days. Can I wear tennis shoes. Also this is my first tattoo, will this be too painful to start with?

My 18th birthday is coming up and I’m planning on getting a tattoo. I am going to get “Life is Beautiful” translated into Lithuanian, which is my main heritage. It translates into Gyvenimas Gražus and I’m planning on getting it in a very scriptive font going around my entire wrist. On a scale of 1-10 how bad will this hurt do you think? And how long will it take possibly? Thankss.
