i want to become a tattoo artist. i love art and i think that tattooing art on someone would be awsome! and i just wanna know how hard it would be to become one.

Im months away from being 17 and I really want to be a tattoo artist and body piercer. Im a pretty good artist but I wouldnt want to limit myself to just tattoos. What can I do to prepare myself for that kind of job? And what could help me with my goal?

I don’t have the money I would need to get good tattoo work, but I want to get my back tattooed, also sleeve out one of my arms. I know the people who get tattooed at conventions do not pay for their tattoo work in exchange for getting tattooed in front of a large audience. Does anyone know how i would go about becoming one of these lucky people?
