I just got a tattoo on my wrist at 2:30 Saturday morning, and I am dying to go in my pool. What is the soonest you’ve gone swimming after getting a tattoo and what happened?

I play football in highschool and am a senior. I have a tattoo design drawn in art and want to get it before wrestling season. (I am most likely going to have a spread on a local website and want it in there haha) but I was wondering if there is anyway that i can get during football or the first week I come back to wrestling. I kno that some people say wait a week or two. Is there any way that i can get is during football season or is this a bad idea?

I have had plenty of tattoos, but for some reason my new tattoo got infected even though I cleaned it and tended to it the same as my others. Anyone else have this issue?
