I have had my nose pierced for the past 7 years and the stud that suited me best personally is the post with a ball on the end.
I have a larger hole, got it done with an ear gun, and have found if I bend it to an "L" shape it sits snug in my nose, does not get ripped out when you wipe your face, and stays put!
My best advice is to try them all once your nose has healed. Dont be afraid to bend the cheaper ones! I wear them all the time, cheap and easy to replace, can change them to suit what your wearing, they're brilliant!
Good luck!

I got a nose bone (which is what you have) after I'd had my nose pierced with a corkscrew for almost a year. The nose bone is HELL to take out. You basically have to rip it out of your nose or in my case, cause I'm not ripping anything through that piercing, my husband took wire cutters and cut it off of me. Go to your piercer and have them remove it for you. They'll be able to do it with the least amount of pain. I will never get a nose bone again and I don't recommend them to anyone. A standard straight post will have a little trouble staying in, from my experience. I have stuck with the corkscrew type since my nosebone nightmare.

Do not use a nose bone.
The jewelry has a ball on the end that is larger than the hole it is being put through... That's what keeps it in. If it's big enough to keep the stud IN your nose, how in the hell does it come out? OUCH - you rip it through the hole. No good for your piercing, painful for you.
Go with the fishtail type. If you're unsure how to bend it for yourself, take some money to tip your piercer, and have them do it for you. It will be TONS more comfortable, easier to remove, and safer for your face. Remember, it is your FACE we're talking about, here.
If you already have one in, go to your piercer and have them change it. Any reputable piercer will tell you the same thing as me - get it out and quick, before the initial piercing does the natural thing and tightens around the stud.
Good Luck -
