I wanna get a monroe piercing but i need some help. I want a cz stud instead of the regular ol ball but want something real small,just a tiny little cz showing..what size would this be if i were to order it? and can the shop pierce me with my own monroe cz stud or do i have to use the ball? pls answer both questions if u can..thx a bunch!

Usually monroes are pierced with a 16 or 14g. This is the thickness of the shaft of the stud, not the size of the visible end.
To know which you will be pierced with, contact the shop you are having perform the piercing. They will also let you know if they will allow you to use outside jewelry in a new piercing. Many shops refuse to use other jewelry because they cannot garauntee its quality and don’t want it irritating your piercing. Also you would need to order a stud in a length that will accomodate your swelling, which will be difficult to find on many websites and will not be available in the mall stores.
If you explain your interest in a cz end your piercer may have studs that will work on hand, so it’s definately worth a visit.
Some piercers will not put a small cz end on a new piercing because of the risk that it could sink into or get pulled through your piercing. Obviously that would be painful and destructive. Some piercers prefer to wait until your piercing is more established so this won’t happen. Usually waiting about 2 weeks until you can switch to a shorter stud length is enough, if this is a concern.
If you have any trouble with this happening later, return to your piercer and get a longer stud. You can still wear the small end, you just need a stud that isn’t so short that it pulls tight.
Talk to your piercer and take a look at the jewelry options they have available before you go ordering or shopping.
they cud prob pierce you with the own stud but its better for your piercing if yu usee thier jewelry first, the size of the stud is something you wud have to ask yur piercer because yu dont know the size they pierce with and it varies from place to place.
i live in a small town in florida and when i was going to get my munroe peirced i called ever place i could think of and they all said no to bringing in my own jewlry only because the jewlry might not be sanitary or it could get pulled through the other side of your lip because of the swelling. and i know what your going through,not wanting the ball they use. only because its kinda big and gawdy. see my mom wanted me to get the littlest one so that you couldnt see it that easily only because of my dad(he thinks facial peircings are a no no) so when i found out it could only be the ball i was kinda pissed it made me mad cause then i couldnt get it done
but idk the rules may vary in your town i would recomend calling around
