I need to take my tongue piercing out for a small op I am having, I won’t be in the surgery for that long, but does anyone know how long it takes for the hole to close? Should it be okay to leave out for about an hour or so?? Many thanks.

this sounds crazy but a friend tied a string through hers just to make sure? do not know if they allow it (i do not have one?) good luck!
It depends on how long you’ve had it done. I left mine out for a month once and was able to put it back in, but I have had mine done for about 8 years now.
It depends on the person. Everyone’s healing process is different.
