Okay so im going to get my nose pierced soon (just a small stud!) and i was wondering how much it hurts compared to a belly button piercing or cartilidge piercing? Does it hurt more or less?Thanks!

Everybody’s pain tolerance is different. My nose hurt more then my belly button but less then at least one of my cartilage piercings. I hope that you will enjoy your new piercing
Well I thought my nose piercing was the most painful besides my septum but i don’t have my cartilidge or my belly button pierced but i have my tongue and lip and had my septum and my nose hurt just as bad as my septum but it’s not that bad (:
I’ve had my belly button (but it grew out) , cartilage (fell out when I was sleeping) and nose (still got it
) pierced and the nose piercing was the least painful =]
This is sad to say, but I’ve had to have my done in the same spot 3 times, and am fixing to have it done again for the 4th! I have a chronic lung condition and end up in the hospital frequently and they ALWAYS make me take it out!, then it usually closes up so quickly that I can’t get it back in in time.
It did ouch pretty good though. I have found out though that the piercer makes a lot of differance. Every time I get it done again it seems to hurt a little more, not because of any scare tissue, just because I know what’s coming. But, the first time……it certainly got my undivided attention for a second, but it quite hurting MUCH faster than my ear did when I had it done. But I agree with one of the other posters that gave you an answer, I think it’s probably slightly different for each individual.
Personally, I thought the ear cartilidge was far worse than the nose! For starters, I had my upper left ear done and usually sleep on that side. I constantly had the stupid thing sore and infected! It took well over a year for the ear cartilidge to heal so that I could take it out and leave it out.
The nose however, went much better, mostly considering that I don’t usually sleep flat on my face.
My best piece of advice……? DON’T FORGET IT’S THERE AND GO SCRATCHIN’ AND RUBBIN’ AT YOUR NOSE!!!

I’ve never had my belly button pierced, but I thought getting my cartilage pierced hurt so much more than my nose. I’ve never had any problems with it!
Everyone is different, but most people would say the nose, since the navel (belly button), is just a fatty tissue, and your nose is cartilage.

Cartilage pericings hurt just a little more cuz they use an ear piercing gun when they do that…
when they pierce your nose they tell you to breathe in & then breathe out, they count to 3 and once they hit 3 they put the needle thru your nose so fast you dont hardly feel it..
(* Hint: If pierced right your nose will bleed just a bit
& your eyes only water for a few seconds! *)
