guns do usually use 20 or 18g, but i have also seen 16g piercing studs. so it depends on what you have. and fyi, they are all gauges. gauge is a measurement of thickness.
If you got it pierced at somewhere like Claire’s Accessories then the jewellry will be a standard earring, correct? Standard earrings are around 18 or 20g.
It’s cartilage and gun piercings are usually 20 guage.
