I got my cartilage pierced, I already had one cartilage piercing clear at the top of my ear but just this weekend, I got another one, the new, trendy, half way up the ear deal. Anyways, they told me to clean it 3 times a day and to turn it often. I’ve been doing all of those things except for I find it really difficult to clean. It hurts reallllly bad, worse than my first one and since it’s in such an akward spot, I feel like I’m not able to get it completely clean. I’ve been using a cotton pad, soaked in the cleaner that they gave me but I don’t feel like it’s working as well as it should. I was just wondering if anyone has this piercing and if so, any advice on keeping it reallllly clean, I’m super worried about infection.
Also, I forgot to ask at the piercing place, so, how long do I have to wait before I can change it the first time?
