Ok, I just got my cartilage pierced in my right ear about 4 hours ago. ever since I got it there was a small (very small) bump right next to where the earring goes in. it is not red or anything, it just looks like a little bump about the size of a pimple. is this normal for this kind of piercing? personal experience?

Yeah its normal. I had my catilage pierced in March. I didnt really notice the bump until I took my earring out but there was one. I wasnt to worried about it but it diddnt really go away & when it did go away it came back. Just put some earing soultion (claires,h2ocean,ect.) on in the morning and night everyday. It should go away. Ive been doing that and my bump reduced and has not been there for a while.
yes it is normal to have a little bump right away. But if it doesn’t go down within a couple of days then you should go to the doctor and have them look at it.
