Question About A Belly Button Piercing?

8 Comments 07 February 2010

Its 2 and a half months old, not red, not sore, no pus, it looks great. but the only thing I’m worried about is that sometimes when I go to like push the bananabell up or down (just cause I like to play with it, bad, i know lol) but sometimes it wont move, like it’s stuck or something.
Is this normal?

It’s pretty normal. The piercing is just tight around the jewelry. You will find that it’s easier to move after a warm shower, bath or sea salt soak.
At this point it’s still best not to move it around or play with it. It’s still healing.

Yes, its normal, but you need to keep moving it. Push it until it does move. You probably just have some build-up under the skin.
    Nothing to worry about!
    Keep cleaning it. :]
    Best of luck!

it could be infected on the inside, you should clean the ring itself off and clean the hole out regularly, if that doesnt work you might want to go to the place you got it pierced and get it checked it out, but im sure its nothing serious =]

try changing your belly button rring, every week or so, otherwise the skin will grow around it

    Personally, I find this normal.
It’s just the crusties that have dried.
