I Want A Body Peircing But I Dot Want My Parents Knowing . Does All Body Piercing Need Adult Consent?

I’m almost 14. I want a body pierecing like a belly button peircing. Is it mandatory for ne to have an adult present ?

No matter where you live yes you’ll need a parent. If you live in Canada you have to be 16 without parental consent and in the US most states you need to be 18.

Yes it is mandatory. And if your parents don’t want you to get one, then don’t. They want whats best for you, even if it doesnt seem like it at times. And I’m not a parent, so don’t think i wouldn’t know about how much parents can bug you.

It sucks, but yes. In America, if you are under 18, you have to have a parent or legal guardian there with both of your id’s or birth certificate [something legally proving that they are your parent] and they have to sign for it.
