I am interested in getting a stocking seam tattoo. These are lines on the backs of the legs and bows at the top, representing stocking seams. How much would one cost?

In this instance, make sure you don’t shop by price. Do not mistake this for a simple tattoo, even if it is just one line. It’s one long and very straight line. Any waver, any hesitation, any slight mar in that line is going to jump out and be extremely noticeable. So, price? It’s going to depend on the skill, talent and demand of the artist, the time it takes, the area of the country in which you live… All artists will give you a slightly different price. It’s up to you to search portfolios. Look for artists with extremely good linework. Straight lines, no blowouts or blobs, good consistency to the width of the linework… it pays to be picky.
Depends a lot on where in the country you live. I live in Buffalo where awesome tattoos are dirt cheap. Stuff that’s done here could easily cost 3x as much in somewhere like LA. Just call a shop [a reputable shop] at a relatively close distance from you and ask 1) What is the sitting fee or the minimal price 2) What they generally charge by hour. That should give you an idea of what they’re thinking. And a little hint: Tattooers never charge what they tell you in advance. So that means you’re going to have to tip them. Hope this helps!
$200.
Are you sure you want this on your legs for the rest of your life? How will it look in a bathing suit?
