Roughly how much would tattoo removal be for a black (no color) tattoo? It is just an outline of a sun, with fairly thin lines, about 4X6 inches. It took only about 15 minutes to have it done, but I don’t like it anymore.

Having it done by laser somewhere in the range of between 500 and a 1,000 dollars. That is what it cost me to have one removed.
You should shop around for who has the cheapest price, but also the best results and best feedback from clients. Don’t always go for the cheapest price (a nail salon by my house claims to do laser tattoo removal for $75 a session…I DON’T THINK SO!) because you want someone qualified and you want the environment to be as sterile as possible, because as with any open sore or abrasion to the skin, you can always contract an infection. …..Since you have a black tattoo, no color, wherever you go, shouldn’t be as expensive as opposed to a colored tattoo. Black ink “lifts” first, it’s the easiest color to remove. So expect fewer sessions than a person who has a colored tattoo. ….The cheapest price and from the best place I’ve found so far, that meets my criteria, is about $275 a session. I shopped around in the yellow pages under: Dermatology, Dermatologists, Plastic Surgery, Cosmetic Surgery and I also went by word of mouth… I recommend you do the same.
My fiance has tattoo on her shoulder that is in the process of being removed. It’s 2″ tall by 1.5″ wide and after the first treatment there is a noticeable difference. We signed up for 5 treatments at Monarch Med Spa costing $2000 = $400 per treatment. It’s a lot but we both hate it enough to spend the money and go through with it.
For the consultation they measured the total area, and based on that area they came up with a time on how long it would take to do the procedure.
For my fiance’s tattoo its costing us $133.33 per square inch per session. Hers has 2 diff colors and is filled in btw.
Best way to find out is to call around, make an apt, and get a quote. Everyone will tell you something different. Most people dont know what the f*** they are talking about and will throw you a number because they havn’t researched it or experianced it themselves.
The Wal Mart knife solution is the least expensive though…
why get it removed? you can get it covered up instead? that might be cheaper? im not sure how much exactly it is but i heard it was expensive. a cover-up might be less costly.
the cheapest way is a knife. 3 dollars at walmart its the easiest way takes a few minutes. or it can be lazered off for alot of time and money

Maybe twice as much as it took to get the tattoo on. And its gonna hurt even more then when you got it on to take it off
it depends on the ink and the size and where you got it done.
is it metal ink or plastic ink?
