After a little while you calm down and it get less rough because you get use to it. I spray the area with Bactine before I go in so it numbs the skin to some extent. The artist cleans the area before she starts anyway so germs aren’t an issue here. Afterward when it’s healing, it feels like a bad sunburn. Then it gets itchy and peels but you can’t scratch it. I lightly repeatedly slap mine when it gets like this, because that doesn’t damage the tattoo but you get some relief from the itching. That may be way more than you were asking for.

i got it done and it felt like period cramps, plus its sore cause you end up tensing up as well. i wouldn’t get it done again and it doesn’t matter how much fat you have it still hurts.
