How Long Should You Wait To Lift Weights After Getting A Tattoo?

I’m getting a tattoo tommorow. I was wondering how long should i wait until I can lift weights again.

    It depends where the tattoo is and what exercises you’re doing. Tattoos on areas like the chest often need touching up because constant movement of the muscle pushes some of the ink out before it settles. If the area you’ve just had tattooed is bunching up and whatnot it’ll exacerbate this.
    You can probably get away with waiting just a day or two but check with your artist to be sure and maybe don’t go too crazy with the weights until it’s a bit more healed.

    I’d probably wait til the next day but I don’t think you have to wait at all – ask your tattoo artist

    I lifted literally an hour after I got mine.. I got a tattoo on my left shoulder blade yesterday and I did biceps yesterday and chest and triceps today.
