How Long Do I Leaving Numbing Ointment For A Tattoo On For?

I am having a large tattoo on my calf on Monday and I have bought some numbing ointment to see if it works (i have already had 4 tattoos without it)….I was wondering how long do I leave it on for before the tattoo?

    Don’t do it. It can make your tat come out all distorted and weird looking. Chances are if it is a larger piece the effect will wear off before your done and then the pain will feel even worse. Just do it the old fashioned way. Your body’s natural pain killers will kick in afters a few minutes and you be fine. You survived the others ones and you will survive this next one. Besides the calf isn’t bad at all.

    it doesn’t work, it usually is applied 20m before but I wouldn’t bother wasting ur time, it will have worn off before your tat is finished and quite a few tatttooists wont tat you if you’ve used it first.
