A friend of mine had a partial plate in his mouth. Front teeth, and he did not have the money to go get them fixed. He used super glue to hold them in. He had done this for two years. Well he started not feeling well, to make a long story short, he almost died from the super glue. It had been poisoning him over the two years. There has to be somethng that could hold it together, but if you do use the glue, make sure it does not get into an open piercing, or a fresh one. But then, something was also said about using the glue to hold a cut together. So maybe short term won't hurt, over the longer term of use. But would it work on the metal with out hurting it, or discoloring it. I know this wasn't an answer to your question, but have a nice night. It won't come off. A bit messy and a pain to do, but it will work.
