I’m not planning to get a tattoo soon or in the next year or so, but I want to know what to expect in the future. I’m not bent on a certain design, but I know I want one down my back. Right where the spine is, there might be some small designs going on my shoulder blades.

The spine is the more painful place on the back. It’s going to hurt, its a tattoo. The larger the tattoo, the more color/shading, the more painful it is going to be. I would say for me, and everyone is different, on a scale of 1-10 I would rate the spine at a 7 pain wise.
