Helen Mirren says then when she got it, it was rebellious; now she feels repulsed that it’s mainstream.

She tells GMA that she is “utterly disgusted” by the tattoo that is a symbol resting close to her left thumb.

She said she got it a “very, very long time ago…. [when I was] very, very drunk” .

“I decided to get a tattoo because it was the most shocking thing I could think of doing. Now I’m utterly disgusted and shocked because it’s become completely mainstream, which is unacceptable to me.”
