ok so i have my ears pierced just like any other normal girl.
but i want another ear piercing just above so that it can be two holes in each ear??
so my question is
do i have to get it pierced with a needle or can i just do it with a gun??
what are the risks??

Gun is quickest and least painful. If you’ve already had all those piercings, then this one is no biggy.

They can use either a gun or a needle.
I have my lobes double pierced, the first holes were done with a gun, the second were done by me using a piercing stud. All of the other piercings I have in my ears were done with a gun and I have 8 total piercings.
And it will hurt like it did the first time…just a little sting, and a “hot” feeling.
Needle is much safer, but earlobes are pretty resilient which is why guns are generally “safe” to pierce lobes with. With guns, you’re risking scar tissue, hepatitis (due to the lack of sterilization), and an awkward placement. Gunned piercings also generally take longer to heal because of the trauma they do to the ear. I’d cough up the extra money & go get it done with a needle, if I were you. It’ll be worth it.
Why do you think you wouldn’t be able to use a gun? You can get the second hole at any peircing location. You’ll just have to remove the other peircing so it doesn’t interfere with the gun. Just make sure you get it professionally done because peircing infections hurt.
you can use either way i have 5 piercings in each ear at the bottom and 1 in one ear at the top and got all mine done with a gun.
i got mine done when i was 15 or 16 and i am now 28 and they are all still open and i have had no problems with them.
I would get it professionally done but you can do it w/ ether a needle or a gun you should only do the needle though for the cartilage because when you do the gun it breaks your cartilage. But yeah 2nd hole do the gun it’s faster and less pain.
If you are getting your cartilage pierced then I advise you to get it done at a piercing salon with a needle. If you get cartilage pierced with a gun it doesn’t ever heal correctly and a bubble may form on the back of your ear.
ok I had my ears pierced by a gun my first time but at age 12 I used a needle and ice. I have to admit although it was numb during the actual process the pain from it weeks later was not pleasant I would use the gun if I were you
You can do it with a gun. The lady that did it for me used a gun and I’m happy. It’s a lot quicker that way too.
PS If your going to do it yourself, make sure everything is super clean!
i got the exact same piercing, i just went to the mall and they pierced it with a gun, it was quick and really easy. Don’t do it urself. go to a professional.
