Does A Septum Piercing Question Hurt More Than A Shot?

i am about getting my septum done.
i am going next week.
i was just wondering if it hurts more than a shot.
like the antibiotic shots or IV’s..

    Just relax and get your piercing, the worst thing you can do is psych yourself out before you get it, think about the end result and realize that if you have a good piercer than it will be over quick.

    I don’t have one but punch yourself really hard in the nose and then think about how much more a sharp needle going in will be and how long it will last for. Hope is doesn’t get infected

    A septum piercing goes through skin, not cartilage. It doesn’t hurt anywhere near as much as you think, or a shot or IV.
    Don’t punch yourself in the nose or freak out.

    i have my septum done, got it two weeks ago could roll it up the same week.. and i’m only 14 and it didnt hurt i’ve had it done twice :P believe me .. but it depends how you take pain but i’m not that good but it still doesn;t hurt and it looks great & i can’t feel it now :L x
