Cartilage Ear Piercing Question About The Needle?

hokay… I want to get my cartilage pierced by a pro at a tattoo place near town and with a needle…..
what is the standard size to have it done with????
and also what is the most common cartilage earring size that can be found easily?…. Basically what is the most common gauge to find earring in for the cartilage? Please help -w-

    [Good] Professional piercers won’t do certain ear cartilage piercings above 14g. And you can find tons of jewelry in 14g.

    well the standardsize quage for cartilage is normally the same as if you were to get your ear lobes pierced with a gun the standard size is 20 guage. Any earring you would put in your earlobe will be fine to go in your cartilage. good luck and hope all is well

    14 or 16 G.
    14g can be found at any place that sells exotic jewelery.
    16g can too but id say 14 is the better size.
