Anyone with ink and a needle “can” tattoo. The question is a moral and ethical one, not a legal one. Unless you give someone a life threatening disease (WHICH IS VERY POSSIBLE SINCE YOU HAVE NO TRAINING) no one is going to come hunting you down for tattooing. I know plenty of tattoo artists who have been working for 10 years or more with no license. Some states are worse then others. Out here in California, there are probably 10 tattoo artists for every “licensed” artist.

go talk to a licenced artist and ask where they went to. since im probal not in your state i could tell you where to go to take the classes to take. i know tho thats its 2000$ and u have to be 18yrs old. at least in my state to get a liscence.

Hi Flaming, No you can not!! You have to have a lincense are you will get into a lot of trouble. Not sure how to get a lincense, but you can go to a tattoo shop and ask the artist in there what you have to do. Good Luck.

i think you can actually tattoo and pierce ur friends as long as you wont really make it as a “business”.. but its still best to get a license, in that way, its legal! hehe..

no u cant do it until u get a licence. i think u should go to somebody that does piering and ask them where they got there. that would usually work. well good luck

you can do them without a license but if you do don’t charge them anything because if something goes wrong you can be sued. To get your license you need to get an apprenticeship at a shop.
