4 Comments 23 January 2010

I think it’s beautiful, and am planning to get it done soon I just was wondering; is it extremely painful and is it easy to maintain? Thanks!

Anti-eyebrows have a tendancy to reject. Being a surface piercing, and in a place that moves around an awful lot.
Fairly easy to maintain, unless they decide to reject, and then theres not much you can do.
Pain depends on your tolerance, but its relatively painful for a facial piercing, as theres quite alot of movement and fiddly bits. Not too bad though.

it’s not extraordinarily painful, but the piercing itself will hurt, and your eyebrow will be tender for a couple of weeks afterwards.
i had my eyebrow pierced for about four years before i decided to take it out- a spontaneous decision, one that i sometimes regret.
anyway, its not too hard to maintain, just take care of it while it’s healing. the most frustrating thing about having an eyebrow piercing, as far as i remember, is changing the jewelry in it. putting in a little barbel isn’t so hard, but i had a really tough time putting in a ring. of course, this isn’t a problem if you don’t want change the jewelry, and you shouldn’t change it in the first few months anyway- but it’s part of the fun of having a piercing.
also, when you go to the hair salon, make sure to remind them of your eyebrow piercing, otherwise they might snag it with a comb, which is annoying, but not as dangerous as it might sound.

it hurts like a mofo like any other piercing
    but its worth it
    as long as
    it dont get infected
