I know I should have asked all these questions when I was at the piercing place, but I was too distracted with excitement.
So, my question is:
I’ve had my longer bar in for only 3 days now. I felt the flat back of the bar with my tongue and it seemed as if one side was going into my lip. It’doesn’t hurt, it doesn’t feel tight, and the ball is still fully visible. I was wondering if this is normal?
I’ve been doing sea salt soaks 2 times a day & cleaning the outside with satin soap, using the given mouthwash after every major meal, and brushing my teeth.

that is very normal and it seems like you are doing everything right. Expect it to take longer to heal than a piercing outside of you’re mouth. The jewelry being a little long is good because if its too short you can swell around the jewelry and I know from experience that is not good. So just keep up what you are doing as far as the cleaning etc. I am not really certain why people would take the time out of their lives to answer a question that they don’t know anything about and just have something nasty to say. People amaze me. Good luck

I’m sorry but I don’t have a real answer to your question because I don’t know the effects of it.

my friend had a monroe piercing. and accordingly it sounds right. but just to make sure. i would go back to the piercing place to find out.
