Thank you for all the answers on my other question
. I really appreciate it, now I was wondering, what do you use to clean your baby’s pierced ears? just water, peroxide, alcohol? and how often do you clean the piercings?
Thank you so much again

there is special piercing cleaner that you can get and that is the best thing to use. you should be able to get some from the place that does the piercing, or at a chemist. you need to clean it at least twice a day.
Wherever you get the piercing done, they will give you special instructions. Some places, like the one I mentioned in your last question, give free care kits to their clients. I used alchohol on my niece….She never got an infection….I used a special cream on mine and it never got an infection either.
any where that does the peircings sell the cleaner to clean them, generally you should clean them at least 3 times a day, good luck
wel for my baby girl i used alcohol and cleaned it 2 times a day the first few days then i just checked them every day to see if it was ok and they are fine shes had them for a couple months now
Having peircings myself, i’ve found the best adjunct to healing is regular bathing in mild soapy water and or saline washes. Gently rotate and clean the entire peircing without removing it. More damge and delayed healing will occur if you remove the piercing and try to re insert it before its fully healed.
A babies skin is highly sensitive, and the use of peroxide or alcohol is more harmful then beneficial in healing. Ofcourse the peroxide and alcohol may be useful in killing any bacteria on the skin surface, but will also kill off new, granulating tissue which is essential in healing.
Good Luck!

use the solution that the body peircing place gave you and do it once or twice a day
Witch Hazel is a good cleaning agent and I would clean it twice a day.
