Ive had my lip pierced now for about two months and i am thinking about taking it out after a couple of more months as im going to collage and they dont allow it their.
i know that on alot of people the hole doesnt close up but on anyone has the hole closed up to just a scar? has anyone got any pictures of themselves without their piercing to show what kindof mark it leaves?

I had 5 lip piercings and took them all out to go to uni and they all left scars, unfortunately, when you put a hole in your face with a sharp needle, I think it’s what happens.
People who have met me recently would never have guessed unless I tell them, but I can see it and it’s very noticeable to me.
My mate has her lip pierced, and it’s a small red mark there when you remove it, which can be covered up.
But that only lasts for a day. The rest of the time it’s unnoticeable, just like pierced ears.
Also if college doesn’t allow it, you could get a clear stud so they don’t notice it, or make the outside of the stud be on the inside, so it’s just the stick bit poking out, that’s what people at school used to do,and they didn’t get in trouble for it.
trust me, I had a lip ring in for 3 months once, and not only did it heal quickly but you can barely see a mark!
My cousin had hers in for over 3 years and it took a bit longer to grow over, but I never noticed the scars, as they are faint and slightly smaller than the hole was. unless you had like a 10 gauge lip piercing, Im going to say that probably no one will notice :]
holes never close up completely, they just shrink.
still a pain to open up again..
i had mine out for 10 years now.. the hole is still there.. you can see it on the outside and the inside is a bump…. i could reopen it but i’m older now, don’t want the hassle and it’ll hurt..
i’m tired of pain for the moment.
it’s a little hole.. like with the ears.. no big deal. no one will see it.. UNLESS you point it out.. then again that’s no guarantee that they will see it then!
i had a monroe.
mines is a very small scar.
i put a little bit of vasaliene on it every day.
i have for the past year & its hardly visable.
& i put a thin layer of foundation on & when i have it on yu cant seee it.
it leaves like a tiny little mark that fades away, i took mine out acouple of months ago and you can’t even tell i had it pierced

yeah it just leave a very small scar!
put vasaliene and it wont even be noticeable at all!
